Radiation Therapist

Lacy Deeks became a valued member of the Community Cancer Center’s Radiation Therapy team in August 2011, following her relocation to Roseburg with her husband.

Lacy’s journey into radiation therapy began with completing prerequisites at Oregon State University, leading to her achievement of a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiation Therapy from Oregon Health & Science University.

Beyond her clinical role, Lacy has actively contributed to community engagement and employee events at the Community Cancer Center. She played a pivotal role in the Relay for Life Fundraising Program, representing the center at events and organizing team participation for multiple years. Additionally, Lacy has been instrumental in the CCC volunteer program, assisting in scheduling and organizing volunteer services.

Lacy is also known for her efforts in organizing employee events, including summer picnics and holiday parties, fostering camaraderie and a positive work environment among her colleagues.

Outside of work, Lacy and her husband prioritize family time, exploring and enjoying the diverse experiences Southern Oregon has to offer with their children.

Lacy’s dedication to patient care, community involvement, and fostering a supportive workplace environment exemplifies her commitment to both her profession and her community in Roseburg.
