Volunteer Today!

Below is the Volunteer Paperwork needed to begin your volunteer service with the Community Cancer Center. Please select the active link, read the content, and complete the paperwork. Select the “Submit” button when you are done. Your information is secured behind a HIPAA compliant firewall. Once you have completed the orientation paperwork a member of our Outreach team will contact you.

1. Complete Volunteer Orientation Online Paperwork by selecting the “Volunteer Today!” button above.

2. Read the CCC Volunteer Orientation Packet (Delivered upon completion of the Volunteer Orientation paperwork.)

3. Complete the CCC Fire Extinguisher Training and Quiz (Delivered upon completion of the Volunteer Orientation paperwork and Orientation Packet.)

Volunteer Prerequisites:

  • Must have an active email account for necessary communications
  • Complete & Submit Volunteer Paperwork to CCC Outreach Program Office
  • Be able to pass OSP background check
  • Complete necessary training
  • Have a compassionate outlook
  • Be willing to help others

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Kiosk Assistant – Support quality patient care and flow in the Community Cancer Center by assisting, directing, guiding, and answering questions of the cancer patient and his/her family and/or caregivers, as well as other community/professional personnel as they enter the building to receive or provide services.

Current Positions Available:

  • Wednesday 12:00 – 3:00 pm

Event Planning Committee Member – Aids in the planning and execution of Community Cancer Center fundraising and events.

Current Committees with Open Positions:

  • Picnic in the Park (Survivors Day Celebration) – day/time varies, typically the 2nd Friday in June
  • Power of Pink – day/time varies
  • Fundraising & Donor Recognition (New in 2025)

Group Facilitator – Plans, guide, and manages a group meeting to meet the goals and criteria for Community Cancer Center programs.

Current Positions Available:

  • Tobacco Cessation Assistant | Tue 4:00 – 5:00 pm (day/time negotiable) Suspended for FY25-26, possibly resume this program July 2026
  • Cancer Support Group Assistant | 2nd Tue Monthly 1:00 – 2:30 pm

Take-A-Break Deliveries – day/time varies
