Lisa Davis, CMA
Medical Assistant

Meet Lisa Davis, the newest member of our Nursing Team. Lisa was born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in the small town of Oregon City, where she graduated from Oregon City High School in 1996. Drawn to the medical field from a young age, her journey became clear after the birth of her son in 1998. Inspired to pursue a career in healthcare, Lisa earned her Medical Assistant degree from Apollo College (now Carrington College).

Lisa’s professional journey began in 2002 with Kaiser Permanente, where she worked in the Urology and Orthopedics departments. After moving to California, she joined Southern California Kaiser’s float pool before returning to Oregon to take a role at OHSU in Neurological Surgery, a position she held from 2007 to 2020.

Lisa’s personal experiences have deeply shaped her career. Her father’s battles with Stage 3C lung cancer and interstitial pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) brought her closer to the world of Radiation Therapy. Lisa supported her father throughout his treatments, sparking a desire to learn more about the medical aspects of radiation care. She later joined the Radiation Department at WVCI, where her empathy and understanding, informed by her father’s journey, provided comfort to patients and families.

Lisa lives by two mottos: “Whatever it takes” and “Never Give Up.” These principles have been her guide through life’s challenges. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her partner, family, and friends. Together, they often explore the scenic beauty of nature, accompanied by their beloved dogs.
